July 30, 2025 – Genre-defying producer Timothy and the Apocalypse returns with a cinematic and soul-stirring new EP, Lost In Transition, a four-track journey through ambient electronica, experimental breaks, and euphoric downtempo. The release is bolstered by dynamic reworks from rising talents Erik Buschmann, Tholemod, and alter ego Charly Whatever, each bringing a fresh perspective to the project.
Known for his genre-bending compositions and hauntingly beautiful sound design, Timothy continues to push the boundaries of modern electronica. The title track, Lost In Transition, evokes feelings of disorientation, beauty, and reflection, a soundtrack for uncertain times.
Erik Buschmann transforms the original into an atmospheric progressive house odyssey, layering hypnotic grooves and immersive textures. Tholemod strips things back with a minimal, glitchy reinterpretation that pulses with analog warmth and late-night melancholy. Charly Whatever flips the script with a wild, rave-inspired dubstep version, echoes of 90s warehouse energy collide with futuristic bass and breakbeat chaos.
"Lost In Transition is about the moments between clarity and chaos, that liminal space we often find ourselves in when everything is shifting," says Timothy. "Each remix adds its own version of that story."
The Lost In Transition EP is now available on all major streaming platforms. Fans of artists like Bonobo, Four Tet, and Jon Hopkins will find themselves right at home in this genre-fluid release.
